A French Protestant (Huguenot) refugee. She may have been from Fleurbaix (Artois) Pays De L'Alleu, or from Lille, Flandre francaise or Nord - arrived in the Cape 1683 and later lived [at] Fleurbaix (Fleurbaai), Stellenbosch. [1]
